Neil Prescott
Treasurer

I have been riding since the age of 17, passing my bike test several years before my driving test, much to the annoyance of my parents. I have ridden with a few years off when children came along.
I have owned Japanese, German, British and more recently American bikes in my time and there are several that stick in my mind; a silver Honda Super Dream that I had to sell in order to get a car; a BMW F650 that was indestructible and so easy to clean and a Triumph Thunderbird Sport that with sports pipes sounded like a Spitfire plane.
Having always dreamed of owning a Harley I regularly went to Riders and just happened to be in the shop when a Nightrain Softail was being unpacked and decided to make that leap.Having never kept a bike more than 2 or 3 years I owned the Nightrain for 7 years before trading it in for my current bike a Road King Custom. After 2 years of the Nightrain I joined the Chapter and initially was a little wary of the whole patch and pin stuff; took the plunge attending rideouts, rallies and tours.
Without a doubt, after buying the Harley, the best thing that I have done is to join the Chapter. I have been lucky to travel with the Chapter all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, travelled to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and USA twice.
During my time in the chapter I have been a Road Marshal, Road Captain and am the Treasurer, and yes have embraced the whole patch and pin culture.
The best way to get to find out about the chapter is to join in some of the events in the calendar.
