The Great Western Rumble 2024

The committee are pleased to announce that we have confirmed the Great Western Rally for 2024.

The rally this year will have a Scottish theme so dig out your best outfit.

Let us tell you a bit more about it.

This year it will be held again at the Somerdale Pavilion at the former Fry’s chocolate factory in Keynsham , Bristol.

I think you will all agree, the new venue has top notch facilities in modern surroundings.

You will be able to order meals including breakfast from the bar area and enjoy the comfortable dining area.

We are in progress of securing gourmet burgers for the Friday evening and then a selection of Greek food for the Saturday evening. Just up the road less than a hundred metres away is the option of freshly cooked stone baked pizzas, so all your culinary needs will be catered for on. A well stocked bar is on hand at reasonable prices.

On site camping is available with a hard standing area for motorhomes and caravans ,but please note no electric hookups are available on site. An area has been earmarked for guests that will be camping in tents.

New for 2024 we have secured with the management that dogs will be permitted as long as they are kept on a lead and away from the sport pitches.

The weekend will kick off with a rideout on the Friday afternoon - approx 1 & 1/2 - 2 hours

Later that day we have live music from  ‘TBA’

To fill in between the sets we will have DJ Dave Curtis returning once again.

On Saturday after breakfast we will have the main rideout which will return about mid afternoon, weather permitting on the patio outside Dave Curtis will be keeping us entertained.

Saturday evening we have our second live band - Rock Pipes who specialise in rock covers all played by bag pipes. Later in the evening until close DJ Dave Curtis will be keeping us moving.

After a leisurely breakfast on Sunday we will depart the site by midday.

Our sponsor Riders Harley Davidson will have a discounted store on site all weekend.

There will also be a raffle in aid of our chosen charity Headway who specialise in brain injury care.
